George Dodge has had personal family experience with the advantages provided by scooters for disabled individuals when his daughter’s illness required the use of one while she was in college. Without the use of a mobility scooter, she would have lost out on attending at least one semester of college on schedule, pushing her graduation out past that of her peers.
